Jay has over 25 years experience in private equity and distressed investing. Jay started his career in financial restructuring and insolvency with the Financial and Special Services Group at Deloitte & Touche. He was a co-founder and CFO of a private oil field services business, CFO of a public oil field services firm, and co-founder of a private equity firm with a focus on the power industry.
Jay earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University, and holds both the Chartered Accountant (CA) and the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D) designations.
Jay currently serves on the Board of Directors for a number of private companies spanning technology, renewable power development and international land based drilling as well as two land development companies.
