Jay is the Founder, Managing Director and CEO of Durum Capital and all funds under its administration. He brings over 25 years of experience in private equity investing to the Durum portfolio of funds including Real Estate, Land development, energy, and environmental related ventures. Prior to founding Durum, Jay served as co-founder and President of ENTx Capital, a private equity fund focused on energy transition and deregulation of the power markets in Alberta. Jay started his career in financial restructuring and insolvency with the Financial and Special Services Group at Deloitte & Touche. Jay earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University, and holds both the Chartered Accountant (CA) and the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D) designations. Jay currently serves on the Board of Directors and Trustees for all Durum related funds and on the boards of a number of portfolio companies.
