Jesse is a driven entrepreneur and strategic business leader. Prior to joining Durum Capital, Jesse worked in corporate finance roles with one of Western Canada’s largest multifamily owners and a global medical device distributor. He is also a 2x founder, including starting a cryptocurrency investment fund and a mobile platform for finding real-time outdoor adventures.
As Vice President, Jesse is responsible for managing the operation and maintenance of a portfolio of technology and innovation investments on behalf of the asset manager. In this role, Jesse runs the daily operations and growth of Shedpoint Ventures, which has developed an innovative real estate business tailored model to start-ups that require industrial space. Jesse is also the CEO of KnoGeo, a Proptech company that has developed patented technology for data-driven decision-making and storytelling in the commercial real estate market.
Jesse earned his Bachelor of Management (Hons.) with a major in Finance and a minor in Economics at UBC. He was also a Varsity Football Athlete. Jesse is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys backcountry hiking, camping and skiing outside of work.
