Jeff is an accomplished financial executive experienced in developing and implementing strategies related to treasury, corporate finance, derivatives & hedging and investment management. He has a demonstrated 17-year history of working in commodity-based industries and brings considerable financial management experience to the Durum Capital team.
In his capacity as Managing Director, Jeff is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for corporate restructuring, financing and investment management for underperforming businesses to build value in Durum Opportunities Fund. He and his team are skilled at both macroeconomic analysis as well as sourcing, evaluating and recommending unique opportunities within the distressed market space.
Jeff has completed his Bachelor of Administration with Great Distinction from the University of Regina. He went on to achieve his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designations and an MBA from Queen’s University. Jeff enjoys being active and spending time outdoors and can often be found training for an upcoming triathlon, playing basketball, skiing, golfing or camping.
